About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Shift Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Delivery Station team, you will play a critical role in leading our team of associates and ensuring the efficient delivery of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Amazon associates to achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards and promote a Health and Safety culture on-site.
  • Collaborate with support teams to develop plans to meet business objectives.
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying weights and physical demands.

A Day in the Life

You will be an inspiring leader within our Delivery Stations, working to continuously improve the efficiency of delivery processes. You will ensure that customer orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively as possible. Along with your peers, you will ensure that all workflows run smoothly and that customer expectations are met, if not exceeded.

Requirements

  • Working experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience as a manager, involving sizable teams.
  • Demonstrate ability in problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
  • Authorized to work in Australia without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Competent in managing high levels of ambiguity and thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience of planning, performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean or Kaizen techniques and methodologies.
