Cloud Infrastructure Expertise

This role focuses on building and supporting cloud-based infrastructure solutions for a wide variety of customers, with periodic involvement in on-premises environments hosting Oracle solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gathers technical requirements and translates them into cloud infrastructure capabilities
  • Participates in providing gap analyses, from a technical perspective, highlighting current state, future state, client needs, best practices and competition
  • Contributes to the timely delivery of cloud solutions
  • Helps identify and resolve technical challenges
  • Produces detailed low-level technical summaries and pertinent high-level executive summaries for relevant teams and external stakeholders
  • Provides managed services support and acts as a lead support consultant
  • Optimizes, fine-tunes, and fits managed services operations while applying knowledge of the customer's business
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years' experience across Linux (OEL/RHEL) and/or UNIX (Solaris) systems
  • Hands-on experience with cloud implementation and BAU support
  • Knowledge across AWS implementation and BAU support
  • Experience building cloud environments with Terraform
  • Excellent management, stakeholder engagement, and technical communication skills
Highly Desirable Qualifications
  • Strong familiarity in supporting Oracle DBAs on Oracle-based infrastructure
  • Familiarity with supporting OLVM
  • Able to configure and support network infrastructure
  • Relevant cloud certifications

Ability to obtain a Government security clearance required.
