The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Framework Lead to join our dynamic team in Sydney. This key role will lead the development and maintenance of our cyber security risk management framework, identifying and assessing cyber risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop a comprehensive cyber risk assessment methodology to manage and track security risks in line with our business risk tolerance.
- Renevaluate all necessary cyber security certifications for client bids and projects by collaborating with internal teams and governing bodies.
- Work closely with business units and risk functions to identify security requirements through risk and business impact assessments.
- Provide guidance and support to the cyber security team on best practices and processes.
- Oversee interactions with cyber security auditors, regulators, and third parties.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and control techniques to manage risk appetite and exposure across the global business.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in risk management, enterprise information security, or cyber security functions.
- A proven track record in security frameworks, standards, and best practices for compliance (NIST, ISO27001, NCSC Cyber Essentials, ACSC Essential 8).
- Experience in creating and maintaining cyber threat models and risk management frameworks in a global corporate environment.
- Knowledge of IT security hardware and software, security suites, identity and access management.
- A strong preference for CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC certifications.
- A minimum of 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience leading multiple teams in a global environment.
