MinterEllison is seeking a Strategic Education Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our consulting group, you will work with clients across the higher education and vocational sectors to provide specialist advice on regulation, compliance, governance, strategy, business case development, reviews, audit, transaction support, and financial analysis.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to client engagements and form a core part of our consulting team. You will deliver high-performance outcomes, act as an emerging thought leader on projects, and be a part of the continuous growth of the team and the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to client engagements and form a core part of our consulting team
  • Deliver high-performance outcomes and act as an emerging thought leader on projects
  • Manage multiple parallel client engagements with projects involving client and stakeholder engagement and consultation, solution and design workshops, research and analysis, and developing high-impact reports/deliverables

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or higher in any field
  • Experience in strategy and management consulting, or experience within the higher education sector
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the regulatory requirements and landscape for higher education (including broad knowledge of the vocational sector)
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and create valuable relationships with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Advanced analytical skills and the ability to synthesise and interpret high volumes of complex information including interpreting regulations
  • Flexible approach to client engagements
