Front Office Ambassador

The Front Office Ambassador is a pivotal role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of the Front Desk. As the primary point of contact for guests, you will provide exceptional service and handle inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage the smooth operation of the Front Desk, handling guest queries efficiently and effectively.
- Process arrival and departure reservations in our hotel system, noting guest requests and loyalty status.
- Handle payments for guest departures, including processing transactions and posting payments.
- Maintain public and back-of-house areas to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Answer phone calls with a smile and coordinate guest needs such as restaurant bookings, transportation requirements, and hotel services.
- Upsell and cross-sell hotel services and outlets, providing excellent service to our guests.
- Prepare coffee and food within our lobby café.
- Engage with guests, sharing knowledge on local attractions, restaurants, and bars.
- Assist in emergency situations when required.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- Experience in guest relations or front office roles is advantageous.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
