As a Food and Beverage Supervisor at Hamilton Island, you will play a key role in leading our Restaurant Management Team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

  • Train, lead, motivate, and inspire our team to maintain high standards of service and processes.
  • Prioritize the health and safety of our staff and guests, including guests' dietary requirements.
  • Provide tools, training, and mentoring to allow our team to consistently deliver guest service to high standards.
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager to identify staff development needs and implement training.
  • Ensure our staff are appreciated and rewarded for their efforts to increase longevity.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as required, including cashiering functions.
  • Regularly report to and communicate effectively with the management team.

  • Minimum two years experience working in Food and Beverage, including section waiting in a busy restaurant.
  • Supervisory experience in a large, fast-paced a la carte restaurant.
  • Strong beverage, wine, and cocktail knowledge.
  • Natural leadership skills with a focus on training, skill-development, and mentoring.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Current Nationally Recognized 'Responsible Service of Alcohol'.
  • Open QLD Driver's License preferred.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Impeccable grooming and personal presentation.
