Electrical Instrumentation Professional

We are seeking skilled Electrical Instrumentation Professionals to join our team in Queensland, Australia. As an Electrical Instrumentation Specialist, you will design and specify instruments for pressure, flow, level, and temperature measurement, including datasheets and loop diagrams.

You will also specify and design on/off and control valves, including valve sizing and actuator selection. Additionally, you will select control system hardware, design system architecture, and develop functional specifications.

Other responsibilities include designing fire and gas detection systems and contributing to LOPA, HAZOP, and CHAZOP assessments. You will perform hazardous area classification and relevant calculations (Ex 'i', 'e') and participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.

  • A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia) is required.
  • You must hold Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or be substantially progressing towards obtaining it.
  • Strong technical expertise in Instrument & Control Engineering principles and practices is essential.
  • You should be proficient in industry-standard software for detailed design tasks.
  • Solid knowledge of Australian Standards, codes, and regulatory requirements relevant to Instrument & Control Engineering is required.
