Electrical Maintenance Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing electrical and automation assets, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the plant.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, with experience working on PLC systems and other industrial equipment. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize electrical and automation assets to ensure efficient operation of the plant
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the plant, using predictive and preventative maintenance measures
- Work closely with the engineering team to implement plant maintenance and improvement strategies
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed
- Coordinate all aspects of maintenance within the assigned work area, including supply of spare parts and organization of external contractors
Requirements:
- Technical background with an electrical qualification (license, certificate, or degree)
- Experience with PLC systems (Allen Bradley or similar) is highly desirable
- Mechanical aptitude and interest
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and respond to breakdowns in an industrial environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with a high level of commitment to working effectively in a multi-skilled team environment
- Hands-on attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work autonomously
