Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Data Science professional to elevate our organisation's data science capability by embedding within the business, building strong relationships and delivering impactful solutions.

The successful candidate will lead end-to-end machine learning initiatives from discovery to deployment and drive meaningful impact across the organisation.

  • Lead end-to-end data science and machine learning initiatives from ideation through to deployment and monitoring
  • Mentor junior and mid-level data scientists promoting best practices in modelling, ML engineering and business alignment
  • Design and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures to support scalable analytics and ML workflows
  • Apply techniques such as A/B testing causal inference and optimisation to drive data-informed decisions
  • Champion MLOps practices including model versioning automated retraining and performance monitoring
  • Explore and prototype innovative approaches in areas like computer vision optimisation and generative AI
  • Communicate insights effectively through clear visualisations presentations and tailored documentation

The ideal candidate is a curious business-focused data scientist who proactively uncovers opportunities to drive operational efficiency revenue growth and continuous process improvement.

Comfortable exploring complex data sets and communicating insights in business terms you bring strong proficiency in Python SQL Spark Azure Databricks and Azure cloud services along with working knowledge of A/B testing frameworks and modern ML toolsets.
