About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Seasonal Casual Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team at JD Sports Parramatta. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide friendly, fast, and efficient service to every customer, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  2. Be a true JD ambassador, showcasing positivity and professionalism at all times.
  3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, trends, in-store promotions, and processes to provide expert advice to customers.
  4. Sell our products and work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales and KPI targets.
  5. Maintain clean and tidy stock standards on the shop floor, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.

Requirements
  1. We require flexibility, including weekends, late nights, and public holidays, with full availability in December and January to support the holiday rush.
  2. Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service roles, or a genuine passion for connecting with people.
  3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers.
  4. A positive 'can-do' attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  5. Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with enthusiasm to learn new skills.
