About the Role

This casual position involves working as a Duty Manager at a major sporting facility. As a Duty Manager, you will have delegated authority of the Centre Manager and will be responsible for maintaining a broad knowledge of centre programs and services.

You will manage a range of centre functions whilst on shift, which may include customer service, café management, safety protocols, staff rosters and breaks, operations, cash balancing, customer education, and general maintenance and cleaning.

The role includes completing shifts during peak times of 3 pm to 11:00 pm on weekdays and 8 am to 8 pm on weekends.

Responsibilities
  1. Recognize cleanliness issues and act accordingly
  2. Maintain a focus on 'Big Picture' issues Centre wide
  3. Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of Centre's Emergency Action Plan
  4. Work autonomously as well as being an active leader
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR certificate
  • RSA

Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Legislation is also highly desirable. Previous experience in a similar facility in a supervisory role is also considered advantageous.
