Inventory Materials Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Materials Management Specialist to join our supply chain team. This key role will provide direct output support to the Manager: Regional Supply Chain through establishment and maintenance of effective inventory management in support of the Regional Supply Chain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising stock holding strategies for inventory materials, maintaining inventory classification of materials with regards to criticality and inventory type, running regular inventory management reports, analysing usage & seasonal trends of inventory, drafting weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required, supporting additional tasks and responsibilities as delegated by the Manager: Regional Supply Chain, identifying and implementing opportunities for common supply across operational assets, managing and running MRP process, and monitoring and managing the repairable/rotable process across operational assets.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have proven ability in verifying and analysing data, prior experience in inventory control/management, ideally within the mining industry, excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to liaise effectively across teams, demonstrated experience working with SAP, Oniqua Analytics experience highly regarded, strong understanding of supply chain operations and material management frameworks, intermediate Excel skills for data management and analysis, and familiarity with Repairable/Rotable processes and component lifecycle management.
