Job Summary

As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving financial success and stability across the organization.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to help them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), oversee the financial health and stability of the company, working closely with the CFO and key stakeholders to drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Analyse financial data, trends, and performance indicators, providing actionable insights to the CFO and Executive team to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, focusing on key performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor and analyse revenue streams, including rental income, ancillary services, and fleet utilisation, to optimise profitability and minimise costs.
  • Implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity, such as process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree and/or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Accountant or in a similar financial management role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
  • Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques, with an understanding of key industry metrics (e.g., utilisation rates, revenue per vehicle, average rental duration).
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
