Job Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the management of our retail store. Your primary objective will be to drive sales on retail hair and beauty products while leading a customer-focused retail team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a customer-focused retail team, training, and implementing our customer engagement approach on the shop floor.
  • Delivering sales metrics, meeting (+exceeding) our benchmarks.
  • Managing store loss prevention standards within our benchmark guidelines.
  • Ensuring store wages are managed in line with predetermined wage budgets.
  • Assisting customers with their purchasing decision by identifying needs and wants and suggesting suitable options.
  • Ensuring the team stays up-to-date with current products and provides correct product information and pricing to customers.
  • Managing and resolving customer complaints as required.
  • Completing end-of-day procedures accurately.
Requirements

You have a passion for the hair and beauty industry, preferably as a Hairdresser or Beauty Therapist, or an experienced retailer with a keen interest in hair and beauty.

Key requirements include:

  • Previous experience in an Assistant Manager or 3IC role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in all circumstances.
  • Previous experience working in a salon is highly regarded but not essential.
