Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in North Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading Australian manufacturing business, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and delivery excellence.
About the RoleIn this key role, you will be responsible for coordinating the safe and efficient transportation of goods from our Cairns-based warehouse to customers across the Far North Qld region. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all deliveries are made on time, in full, and meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensuring all vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and tidy at all times, with regular checks and inspections to prevent any issues.
- Loading and Unloading: Assisting with loading and unloading goods onto trucks and trailers, ensuring all items are secure and properly arranged for safe transportation.
- Paperwork and Administration: Completing all necessary paperwork and check sheets accurately and on time, maintaining accurate records of delivery schedules and vehicle maintenance.
- Customer Service: Communicating effectively with customers regarding delivery instructions, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
You will work closely with our drivers, warehouse staff, and other teams to ensure seamless logistics operations and excellent customer service.
About YouTo succeed in this challenging role, you will need to possess:
- A current driver's licence (Manual) with a clean driving record;
- A construction white card;
- Prior experience in logistics or a related field;
- A commitment to workplace health and safety practices;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a company car and fuel card.
