Job Description

Our client, a reputable organization in the industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Support Specialist to join their team in a temp to perm opportunity. In this role, you will play a crucial part in upholding their health and safety standards, supporting their operational processes, and providing exceptional service to both their branches and customers.

This role is a Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health and Safety: Drive a culture of health and safety by adhering to the company's Safe System of Work and promoting best practices across the team.
  • Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for inbound branch and customer inquiries, delivering outstanding service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Order Management: Conduct critical follow-ups on orders, effectively communicate updates to customers and branches, and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with warehouse staff regarding orders, changes, and other relevant matters to ensure smooth operations.
  • Customer Complaints: Address and resolve customer complaints promptly, providing appropriate solutions and following up to ensure issues are fully resolved.
  • Data Management: Perform accurate data entry for inbound goods, print and match credits, and process returns and reverse logistics efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in an operations support or customer service role, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Detail-oriented with strong data entry and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with warehouse staff and other team members.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the capacity to manage complaints effectively.
