As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will have the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, with support from a close-knit team of healthcare professionals and access to global resources.
Key duties include:
- Case management with support from Rehabilitation Assistants
- Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes
- Developing injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees
- Collaborating with injured workers, employers, and health professionals
- Working across various schemes like workers compensation, third-party, insurance, and government programs
- Supporting clients to achieve health and work outcomes
- Conducting Vocational Assessments and injury management services
Internal supervision and hands-on career development opportunities are available.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
- Application support for Associate or Full ASORC membership and supervision
- Current AHPRA registration or ASORC Membership
- Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and time management
- Current QLD Driver's License and own vehicle with insurance
