As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will have the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, with support from a close-knit team of healthcare professionals and access to global resources.

Key duties include:

  • Case management with support from Rehabilitation Assistants
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes
  • Developing injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, and health professionals
  • Working across various schemes like workers compensation, third-party, insurance, and government programs
  • Supporting clients to achieve health and work outcomes
  • Conducting Vocational Assessments and injury management services

Internal supervision and hands-on career development opportunities are available.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Application support for Associate or Full ASORC membership and supervision
  • Current AHPRA registration or ASORC Membership
  • Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and time management
  • Current QLD Driver's License and own vehicle with insurance
