Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to fill the role of Housing Advocate. As part of our team, you will be responsible for supporting people with disability in understanding their housing options and developing quality evidence for submission to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have the ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Support clients in understanding NDIS-related housing supports
  • Maintain high-level understanding of eligibility for NDIS Home and Living Supports (SDA, ILO, and SIL)
  • Develop high-quality documentation on funding support eligibility
  • Adhere to database entry requirements and record information accurately
  • Maintain current knowledge of NDIS legislation and changes related to home and living supports

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience Working with Individuals with Complex Needs:
  • Able to work efficiently within a CRM database
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
