Visual Effects Production Leader

We're seeking a visionary FX Supervisor to spearhead our visual effects production team.

This role is all about strategic leadership, hands-on expertise, and creativity. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our FX department, fostering an environment where artists thrive and exceptional work is delivered consistently.

Essential Qualifications:

  • No less than 8 years of experience as an FX TD, preferably with prior exposure as an FX Supervisor
  • Deep knowledge of Houdini and proficiency in its use
  • A proven track record of delivering photorealistic simulations, including smoke, fire, clouds, water, steam, and explosions, as well as particle and voxel-based rendering
  • An acute eye for detail, impeccable timing, and thorough grasp of techniques and technologies in computer graphics
  • Familiarity with pipeline issues and problem-solving skills
  • Proven project management experience, balancing quality with time constraints
  • High-level feature film experience in live-action VFX productions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and train teams of FX Artists
  • Outstanding artistic and technical skills
  • Capacity to provide innovative artistic and technical solutions to the Effects Team

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Python, HScript, or Mel programming languages
  • Experience in live-action FX preferred
  • Knowledge of Maya and/or equivalent 3D software
