About Our OperationsWe have been shaping the future of Townsville and North Queensland for 160 years, with a focus on safety and efficiency. We are expanding our team as we undergo a period of significant and sustainable growth, undertaking the biggest port expansion in our history.
As a Maintenance Plumber, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of operation by maintaining all potable and wastewater installations and equipment. You will support the Manager Maintenance and Leading Hand with positive input and solving job problems that arise day-to-day.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and operate the Port's potable and wastewater plant and associated equipment, ensuring prompt repair of breakdowns to miscellaneous plant as it arises.
- Carry out remedial repairs, maintenance and installation/commissioning to the Port's equipment and services, providing and maintaining records of time and materials utilised.
- Actively provide positive input and solve day to day job problems, supporting the team through proactive and ambitious contributions.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in plumbing and maintenance, being proactive and ambitious with a passion for making a real impact.
