
Infrastructure Specialist

Maintain and service traffic signals and ITS equipment to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This involves regular inspections, repairs and maintenance work to prevent faults and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and servicing traffic signals and ITS equipment
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and contract requirements
- Following OH&S protocols in line with Ventia policies
- Participating in on-call and relief service rotations
- Undertaking training to enhance contract-relevant capabilities
- Assisting with emergency response coordination
- Contributing to the review and improvement of operational procedures
- Supporting the Asset Manager and ITS Asset Engineer with asset planning
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A current electrical licence
- Experience with ITS and/or traffic signals (highly regarded)
- A valid driver's licence and Construction White Card
- The ability to provide after-hours support when required
