The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team, reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring service and stock level optimization for our Regional Fulfilment Centres and Specialist Businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform forecast reviews, monitor service levels, reduce stock outs, manage overstocks, and conduct price point analysis on targeted lines to improve buying opportunities.
  • Analyze, interpret, and make tactical decisions to optimize inventory.
  • Manage the placement of purchase orders and all necessary follow-up activities to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Achieve smooth and consistent supply of products by building strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, enhancing buying opportunities in conjunction with our Category Team, and supporting ranging decisions and managing product life cycles effectively.
Requirements
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Commerce, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
  • Have experience in inventory management, purchasing, or planning.
  • Possess intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and MS Office.
  • Experience with Infor M3, Slim4, or other Inventory Management Systems is desirable.
  • Have an eye for detail and highly organized.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels, especially with our front-line staff.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment while enhancing and innovating our processes.
  • Industry and product knowledge is highly regarded.
