
Community Mental Health Advocate

Deliver essential community-based outreach and recovery-oriented support to individuals with mental illness. Develop and implement individualized recovery plans, promoting positive self-care strategies and enhancing social and daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in delivering individualized recovery support based on consumer goals.
- Monitor and review consumer recovery plans in partnership with clinicians and community organizations.
- Promote positive self-care strategies and enhance social and daily living skills.
- Complete risk assessments and safety planning activities as required.
- Availability to work morning and afternoon shifts Monday to Friday.
- Minimum Certificate IV in Peer Mental Health, Mental Health or Community Services or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience working with consumers with severe and persistent mental illness.
- NSW full Driver's License.
- Understanding of Principles of Recovery-Oriented Mental Health Practice.
- Demonstrated ability to develop Individual Support Plans and utilize outcome measures.
