About the Role

In this comprehensive 12-month program, you will acquire the tools, confidence, and supervision needed to excel in your occupational therapy role.

You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based therapy that drives positive outcomes for participants in various settings. Your role will involve applying the social model to empower participants to overcome barriers and achieve personal goals.

The program includes:

  • Comprehensive Induction: First month focused on foundational skills and interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • 1:1 Clinical Supervision: Mentors provide personalized guidance to enhance clinical confidence and skills.
  • Learning Frameworks: Modules covering therapy planning, high-impact interventions, multi-modal communication, and managing complex behaviors.
  • Professional Growth: Develop clinical expertise and professional skills such as time management, coaching, and participant engagement.
Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement therapy plans that drive positive outcomes for participants.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to share insights and create innovative solutions.
  • Build meaningful relationships with participants and their support networks to create lasting change.
Requirements
  • AHPRA Registration and a degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to work in community settings.
