Senior Civil Designer Role

Our organization is seeking a Senior Civil Designer to join our Design and Engineering division. This role will involve ensuring project delivery across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing quality designs using 12D software, with experience in Civil 3D also an advantage;
  • Managing, planning, resourcing, and completing assigned modelling projects within agreed deadlines;
  • Assisting the Project Manager in determining drafting and design resources required for a project plan, including elements suitable for outsourcing;
  • Ensuring accurate, clear, and concise production of project documents compliant with best practice and quality standards;
  • Resolving complex technical drafting and design issues;
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with Project Managers, Design Engineers, and drafters in other disciplines.
Requirements:
  • Relevant engineering degree or certifications;
  • At least 5+ years of demonstrated industry experience in civil design standards using 12D and Civil 3D software;
  • Experience with various software programs such as AutoCAD and 12d Synergy;
  • Design knowledge in road design, earthworks, grading design, and utilities design;
  • Excellent client-focus and sound technical know-how;
  • Ability to develop design elements from concept sketches to detailed drawings;
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver quality output within timelines.

Must have experience working on Urban Development projects in Southeast Qld or Northern NSW.
