Job Description

The Growth Oriented Business Strategist role is pivotal in helping defined portfolio of brokers grow more productive, profitable, and sustainable businesses.

This strategic partner works side-by-side with brokers to unlock growth and deliver on key performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Coaching and Growth Enablement
  • Conduct structured business planning sessions to set clear goals and strategies
  • Deliver tailored coaching based on performance, goals, and stage of business maturity
  • Facilitate peer-group training sessions for knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • Track and support brokers' progress against SMART goals and key milestones
Revenue, Productivity, and Diversification
  • Identify growth levers including lead generation, conversion optimization, and referral partnerships
  • Help brokers develop customer acquisition strategies and increase lifetime value
  • Drive adoption of diversification strategies across asset finance, commercial, and white label
Compliance and Operational Health
  • Support brokers to remain compliant and safe with an average audit score above 6.0
  • Drive adoption and optimal usage of CRM systems
  • Be the go-to person for coordination of internal support
Engagement and Capability Building
  • Ensure consistent participation in professional development days, conferences, and state training programs
  • Collaborate with training specialists to identify and address skills gaps
  • Promote use of performance pathways and continuous learning initiatives
Internal Collaboration and Broker Advocacy
  • Be the broker's advocate within the organization, ensuring needs and blockers are escalated and addressed
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless broker support
  • Maintain accurate records of coaching sessions, commitments, and progress
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of business strategy, coaching, and leadership principles.

You should be able to analyze complex business problems and develop tailored solutions.

Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis tools is also highly desirable.
