Regional Distribution Manager Job

As a Regional Distribution Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our regional distribution centre. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the warehouse and transportation team, ensuring that all logistics are efficient and cost-effective.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing a team of people. They will also have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of warehouse staff and transport drivers

  • Overseeing daily operations, including receiving, storing and dispatching goods

  • Ensuring accurate inventory control and effective stock management

  • Developing and implementing processes to improve efficiency and productivity

  • Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all employees

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in logistics or supply chain management

  • Proven track record of successful team leadership and management

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
