Economic Insights Leader
Description:We seek a seasoned economist to drive macroeconomic analysis, technical writing, and econometric modeling for our clients.
The successful candidate will analyze economic data, develop insights on regional and macroeconomic trends, and contribute to company publications through research articles, blogs, and commentary pieces.
Key responsibilities include leading forecasting processes, ensuring high-quality outputs, building complex econometric models, and estimating equations with senior staff review as needed.
Serving as a subject matter expert for specific regions, states, or countries, including sub-national and international economies, is another key responsibility of this role.
The Economic Insights Leader will take ownership of custom consulting projects, manage client relationships, and deliver proposals with minimal supervision.
Supporting the development of proprietary data, indicators, and subscription products while contributing to product improvements is also an essential duty of this position.
Representing the company in media interviews, teleconferences, client presentations, and conferences, establishing thought leadership in the field, is a crucial aspect of this role.
The successful candidate will also supervise junior economists, providing day-to-day oversight, training, and performance evaluations.
