Senior Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in North Parramatta. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a friendly and passionate team, providing therapeutic supports to clients living with a disability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake assessments and provide intervention with a focus on evidence-based practice.
  • Provide clinical supervision, knowledge, and support to junior therapists.
  • Work alongside and collaborate with an expert Senior OT to achieve best practice services.
  • Develop and implement home modification recommendations and prescribe equipment, assistive technologies, and other therapy supports.
  • Liaise with families and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Provide treatment, guidance, and education to individuals and their carers.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy (with AHPRA registration).
  • A passion for facilitating and enabling meaningful outcomes for people with disability and their families.
  • Desire to work with and support junior therapists.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Current driver's license and car.
  • Working with Children Check, National Police Check, Children's First Aid training (or willingness to obtain these).
  • Some clinical Occupational Therapy and NDIS experience.
