Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Oakleigh practice as a Practice Manager.

This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to develop a high-performing practice team in a positive environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining sterilisation, infection control standards, and stock control, as well as patient management, greeting, and welcoming patients.

Additional responsibilities include general administration, marketing the practice to drive patient numbers, and effectively managing recruitment and selection for all practice staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Couching, leading, and developing a high-performing practice team in a positive environment
  • Maintaining sterilisation, infection control standards, and stock control
  • Patient management, greeting, and welcoming patients, answering phone enquiries, making and confirming appointments, checking and processing customer accounts
  • General administration, including processing payments using EFTPOS and HiCaps
  • Proactively marketing the practice to drive patient numbers
  • Effectively managing recruitment and selection for all practice staff
Requirements
  • Previous dental Practice Manager or strong dental experience required
  • Prior business and people management experience essential
  • Proven track record of strong organisational skills, administrative, and time management
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills, and strong business acumen
