Empowering Youth through Mentorship

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of young people as they strive to achieve independence. As a driving mentor volunteer, you will provide guidance and support to young individuals who are working towards obtaining their probationary license through the L2P Program.

This is an excellent chance for those passionate about empowering youth to join our team and contribute to the mission of ending homelessness in Melbourne. By offering your time and expertise, you will play a vital role in helping these young people develop essential skills and gain confidence in their abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide driving guidance and mentorship to young people at the Education First Youth Foyer Broadmeadows
  • Undertake training as required, ensuring that you remain up-to-date with the latest knowledge and best practices in driving instruction and youth development
Requirements:
  • Be over 21 years of age
  • Have an interest in working with young people who are striving to achieve independence
  • Hold a current full Victorian driver's license
  • Have a satisfactory driver's license history
  • Be medically fit to drive
  • Be able to commit approximately 1-2 hours per week and be flexible
