- Maintain the appearance and presentation of the cafe, including replenishing condiments and supplies as needed.
- Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Promote our centre's services and programs to patrons, highlighting our unique offerings and benefits.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with patrons, colleagues, and management.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation, including making coffee and other beverages.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Positive, friendly, and helpful attitude, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a cafe or hospitality environment.
- Food handling certificate and current first aid certificate (Workplace Level 2) are essential.
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends, including peak periods.
