Key Role Summary

This is a pivotal opportunity to shape the future of healthcare services. As Planning Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of evidence-based approaches to health service commissioning, capacity and service planning, monitoring and evaluation.

You will report to the Director, Improvement and Planning, and be guided by statewide frameworks and strategies, clinical service models, and strategic objectives. Your work will drive meaningful improvements across healthcare services, collaborating with clinical programs and corporate teams to build organisational capability and support service innovation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead high-quality data analysis, modelling, and insights to inform service design and transformation across the network.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups to inspire team cohesion and drive performance excellence.
  • Develop and implement multifaceted clinical service planning and health projects within complex healthcare environments.
  • Manage, analyse, and interpret complex health datasets, including predictive modelling and demand forecasting.

  • A strategic and solutions-focused professional with a strong background in health or business administration.
  • Proven leadership skills with exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading project and service planning initiatives in large, complex healthcare environments.
  • Advanced ability to manage, analyse, and interpret complex health datasets.
