Job Summary
Commercial Leader OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial management, with a focus on cost control and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all commercial aspects of assigned projects from procurement through to final accounts.
- Prepare accurate valuations, track variations, and oversee subcontractor payments.
- Maintain tight cost control and forecasting, ensuring commercial compliance throughout project lifecycles.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including design and site operations.
- Produce detailed cost reports and maintain strong project documentation.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of commercial processes and mentor junior staff.
- Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
- 5–10+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally within bespoke residential or main contracting.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
- Proficient in cost management software and Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
- Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
