Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Advisor to enhance our safety culture across various operational sites. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Safety, Health, and Sustainability for the APAC region, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Creating and delivering training programs and safety briefings;
  2. Offering constructive feedback and mentorship to site supervisors and management;
  3. Conducting safety orientations for seasonal staff;
  4. Executing safety audits and inspections;
  5. Assisting in the development and review of safety protocols and documentation.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a strong problem-solving mindset, dedicated to engaging leadership in fostering a safer work environment. While being based near one of our operational locations is preferred, we are open to considering candidates from other areas who can accommodate travel across our network.

The following qualifications and experiences are essential for success in this role:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of relevant on-site experience in process manufacturing, logistics, or agricultural settings;
  2. Certification in Health & Safety (at least Cert IV WHS) or equivalent;
  3. In-depth understanding of WHS legislation applicable in QLD & NSW;
  4. Experience in incident investigation methodologies (e.g., ICAM);
  5. Proven ability to develop and document safety procedures and training materials;
  6. Strong interpersonal skills to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels;
  7. Excellent organizational capabilities to manage a dynamic workload;
  8. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail;
  9. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively;
  10. Proficiency in digital tools, including the Microsoft Office suite;
  11. Willingness to travel regularly to various sites;
  12. Valid Driver's License.
