The People Branch provides operational, tactical, and strategic human resources support to create a safe, resilient and just environment where people can realize their potential.

As a HR Advisor Aboriginal Employment within our Aboriginal Employment Strategy team, you will play an integral role in establishing department-wide development, coordination and implementation of Aboriginal employment policies, strategies and programs.

This role contributes to workforce strategy development, supporting networks, department-wide initiatives, education, and workforce strategies focusing on Aboriginal employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to workforce strategy development and implementation.
  • Support networks and department-wide initiatives related to Aboriginal employment.
  • Develop and implement Aboriginal employment policies, strategies, and programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Aboriginal cultures and histories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
