About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at InfraBuild. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing of processed and reinforcing bar.

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing the shift to ensure production and output are met. You will also be responsible for ensuring all WHS management system requirements are met and safety standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the shift to ensure production and output are met
  • Ensuring all WHS management system requirements are met and safety standards are maintained
  • Managing costs to ensure delivery is met in the most cost-effective manner
  • Allocating appropriate manning and ensuring employees are trained, fit, qualified and competent to effectively run operations
  • Ensuring the operation is working in adherence with site safety policies, procedures, and critical elements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience supervising or managing a large team in a manufacturing environment
  • Extensive experience in driving cultural change and developing the capability of the team including the next generation of leaders
  • High level problem solving, conflict resolution and people management skills
  • Experience with implementation of lean systems and process improvement
  • Solid understanding of safety management systems and building the safety culture
  • Ability to use computer systems including Microsoft suite and proprietary systems
  • High degree of commercial and business acumen
