About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts & Payroll Officer to join our team in Melbourne.

This is a broad and hands-on role where you will take ownership of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions.

  • Process Accounts Receivable and Payable transactions
  • Prepare and send invoices, including uploading to client portals
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and liaise with clients for approvals
  • Manage obligations to suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors
  • Complete credit applications and perform bank reconciliations
  • Maintain and manage client portals and accounts inbox
  • Manage payroll by collecting and entering timesheet data, setting up new employees and ensuring checks and inductions are completed as part of the onboarding process.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to be:

  • Experienced in a similar accounts/admin role (minimum 2 years)
  • A team player with a proactive and customer-focused attitude
  • Detail-oriented and committed to following procedures
  • Energetic, quick-thinking, and able to work independently
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience in the Relocations industry is a bonus but not essential
