This exciting position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in providing high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective, evidence-based care in a psychiatry setting. They will also support interprofessional collaboration and supervise medical staff, non-medical colleagues, and students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health services to children and adolescents in a collaborative environment.
- Contribute to teaching, supervising, and mentoring professionals in line with best practices.
- Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration.
- Fellowship of RANZCP or equivalent qualification.
- Advanced Certificate of Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development and reflective practice.
The role is based at Nepean Hospital, offering opportunities to work with young people up to 17 years. The team prioritizes providing excellent community mental health care using therapeutic approaches.
The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team working towards evidence-informed and patient-centered care.
