We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Promotion Manager to join our team at Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service. As a key member of our health promotion team, you will be responsible for leading the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of health promotion programs and activities aimed at improving health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide management and expertise to the Health Promotions Team to ensure the effective delivery of health promotion programs and activities.
  • Manage recruitment and selection, staff induction, performance management, and professional development of the team.
  • Develop and maintain effective networks, alliances, and relationships with families, individuals, communities, and health sector organisations.
  • Collect, analyse, and report data to assist in the evaluation of activities, events, and programs.
  • Ensure timely reporting to current funders through the Clinical Business Services Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in health science or master's degree in health promotion or related field.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining effective networks, alliances, and relationships with families, individuals, communities, and health sector organisations.
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills and demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
