Quality Assurance Specialist

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective range of Quality Assurance Services for all projects.

Your role will include reviewing, inputting and maintaining all quality assurance processes to meet internal and external customer requirements and authorities. You will also ensure the accurate compilation and timely delivery of required Objective Quality Evidence as per each individual Client's needs.

  • Project Coordination: Coordinate project documentation, compliance processes, and stakeholder information for accurate submission and operational integrity.
  • Quality Maintenance: Maintain and enhance quality and compliance by reviewing procedures, supporting audits, resolving issues, and driving process improvements.
  • Relationship Building: Build effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Drive efficiency and continuous improvement within the quality assurance environment by identifying opportunities and guiding the operations team.
  • Risk Management: Proactively manage risks, escalate issues, and contribute to relevant business meetings with a clear understanding of safety, quality, and business requirements.

You will need:

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous Quality Assurance experience in Defence/Commercial industries or similar.
  • Maintenance Operations experience in marine/ship repair related fields.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Qualified auditor.
  • Trade qualification in relevant fields.
