Customer Identity Architect Job

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a large-scale Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) platform built on Microsoft Azure.

This role will be pivotal in ensuring a secure, scalable, and user-friendly identity solution for both individual and organisational users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture and design of Azure-native CIAM solutions covering Azure AD B2 C custom policies, API Management, Cosmos DB, and delegated authority patterns.
  • Oversee integration of identity services with legacy systems and ensure data integrity and privacy compliance.
  • Develop and maintain solution architecture artefacts including data flow diagrams, threat models, and transition-to-support documentation.
  • Guide delivery teams on identity linking, account migration, and user lifecycle processes.
  • Define operational readiness requirements including monitoring, deployment strategies, and support documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect on large-scale digital identity or security programs.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services including Azure AD B2 C, API Management, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB.
  • Solid understanding of Oauth 2.0, Open ID Connect (OIDC), RBAC, and delegated authority models.
  • Experience with Trusted Digital Identity Framework (TDIF), my Gov ID, ABR, and ASIC integrations.
  • Background in information security, privacy regulations, and risk management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
