We're seeking a skilled Claims Professional to join our team, responsible for providing coaching and guidance on claims interpretation and settlement. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing complex claims and complaints within a general insurance organization, with a deep understanding of the claims handling process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on claims interpretation and settlement, ensuring consistent, fair, and efficient outcomes.
  • Analyze and report on portfolio trends, identifying emerging risks and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with Claims Team Managers to ensure procedural compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Make and document core and complex claims decisions within authority limits, serving as a subject matter expert in Liability Claims.

About You:

  • Significant experience in managing complex claims and complaints within a general insurance organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of the claims handling process, including settlement procedures and adherence to relevant claims codes.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including conflict resolution, with the ability to balance understanding, empathy, and compassion with commercial outcomes.
