Job Role: Service Mechanic 2

This role involves ensuring the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and service elevators to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
  • Manage a portfolio of elevators, responding proactively and quickly to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Carry out minor repairs to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operations.
  • Undertake upgrade and modernisation works to improve efficiency and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold trade qualifications as an Electrical Fitter/Mechanic with an Electronics degree/diploma/certificate.
  • A minimum of four years proven successful experience in elevator maintenance and/or installation.
  • Hold a valid and current electrical license.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
