The Paliative Care Physician will be a valued member of the Community Health team to provide specialist expert clinical care to all patients of the palliative care service. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
Key responsibilities- Provide specialist palliative care clinical services to patients in hospital acute consultative, inpatient and community settings.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver quality end-of-life care and symptom management.
- Engage in service delivery improvements and contribute to program development within palliative care.
- Formal Qualification(s) and Required Registration(s): AHPRA registration as a specialist in Palliative Medicine
- Hold FRACP Palliative Medicine and/or FAChPM Essential
- Experience in palliative care service delivery as a palliative medicine consultant in hospital acute consultative, inpatient and community settings
- Desirable: Post graduate qualification in palliative care
