About the Centre

Ngala Community Services operates a dynamic and welcoming early learning centre in Kensington, Western Australia. Conveniently located near a local café, our centre offers a nurturing environment where children can flourish through play-based learning and strong relationships.

We operate Monday to Friday, from 7am to 6:00pm, providing a range of programs and services for young learners and their families.

About the Role

We're seeking dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educators to join us on a Casual basis. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our experienced Early Childhood Teacher to deliver high-quality educational experiences for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and intellectual growth in a play-based environment.

You'll become part of a close-knit team who support each other, learn from each other, and love coming to work. Our centre values inclusivity, diversity, and teamwork, making it an ideal place for educators who share these values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Craft and deliver engaging activities that inspire learning and development in young children.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels excited to learn and grow.
  • Build strong connections with children and their families, supporting their educational journey every step of the way.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to plan and coordinate engaging lessons and activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, offering feedback and support where needed.
  • E nsure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience in a kindergarten or early childhood setting.
  • A strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A true team player with a passion for working with young children.
  • Valid WA Working with Children's Check.
  • National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months).
