Electrical Safety Inspector

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to conduct inspections, investigations and enforcement activities related to electrical safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, providing advice and information to management and other stakeholders, and making recommendations for improvements in electrical safety practices.

The Electrical Safety Inspector will work closely with other teams within the organization to achieve goals and objectives. This includes coordinating with regional and remote locations to conduct inspections and gather evidence. The inspector will also prepare documentation required for enforcing electrical safety legislation and present evidence in courts and disciplinary bodies.

Key skills and qualifications for this role include an unrestricted electrical worker's license endorsed 'Electrician', Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent knowledge of investigation practices. Additional skills such as mentoring, coaching and training inspectors are also desirable.
