**Role Overview:**

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Additional Assistant in a Kindergarten Inclusion Support Program. This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, helping children of all abilities thrive in their kindergarten.

**Job Description:**

As an Additional Assistant, you will be part of a service team delivering the kindergarten program and share everyday team responsibilities. You will work across the whole room, assisting kindergarten teachers and educators to provide fun and inclusive activities for all children.

The role involves lifting, carrying, and moving children and objects, as well as working at lower levels, such as on the floor or using small furniture. A kindergarten placement typically involves 7.5 to 15 hours per week during the school term, with varied hours between 8:15 am and 5:00 pm depending on each kindergarten's service schedule.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist kindergarten teachers and educators to deliver the kindergarten program
  • Share everyday team responsibilities, including maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Work with children and support them in daily care routines

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

You do not need qualifications, just compassion, patience, and a willingness to support children and educators in a warm and welcoming environment. You should have good communication skills, be a team player, and have worked with children in some capacity. Basic computer skills are also required to navigate and access our systems.
