Key Responsibilities:
  • SIEM Management: Configure, optimize, and manage SIEM platforms to effectively detect and respond to security threats, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • SOC Alert Response: Proactively monitor and investigate security alerts, taking swift action to mitigate potential risks and protect our assets.
  • M365 Security:
    • Harden Office 365 environments to enhance security posture and prevent data breaches.
    • Monitor for anomalies and suspicious activities within the O365 suite, leveraging machine learning algorithms to identify potential threats.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies and develop incident response playbooks, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
  • Microsoft Entra ID:
    • Investigate and respond to identity-based security threats, ensuring robust identity and access management controls are in place.
    • Implement advanced identity and access management controls, utilizing Azure AD and Microsoft Entra ID to secure user identities.
  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint:
    • Utilize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to protect endpoints from advanced threats, including malware and zero-day attacks.
    • Configure and optimize endpoint security policies, ensuring real-time threat detection and response.
  • Vulnerability Management:
    • Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities, utilizing industry-leading tools and methodologies.
    • Implement effective vulnerability remediation strategies, ensuring timely patching and remediation.
  • Azure Security:
    • Monitor and respond to security alerts related to Azure environments, ensuring proactive detection and mitigation.
    • Implement Azure security best practices, leveraging Azure Sentinel and Azure Security Center to enhance security posture.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, including threat intelligence and incident response.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM technologies (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), with a focus on configuration, optimization, and management.
  • Proficiency in M365 security, including Office 365, Azure AD, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, with a focus on security operations and threat hunting.
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes, including asset inventory, vulnerability scanning, and remediation.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, particularly Azure, with a focus on Azure Sentinel, Azure Security Center, and Azure Identity Protection.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex security threats and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, based on industry standards and regional market conditions.
