Procurement Specialist

A temporary assignment is available for a skilled individual to assume the role of Procurement Specialist with a leading not-for-profit organisation. This 6-week opportunity provides support to the organisation's teams through ensuring timely and efficient processing of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Oversee existing contracts, including renewals, variations, extensions, and cancellations.
  • Procurement & Sourcing: Conduct purchasing activities in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Financial Administration: Track and report on contract and supplier spend, prepare monthly accruals, and payment schedules.
Requirements:
  • Numerical, abstract, and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with ERP Materials management systems
  • Exceptional customer service experience
  • Off catalogue sourcing and spot buying experience
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency
  • Problem-solving capabilities and initiative
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Organisational skills under pressure
