A temporary assignment is available for a skilled individual to assume the role of Procurement Specialist with a leading not-for-profit organisation. This 6-week opportunity provides support to the organisation's teams through ensuring timely and efficient processing of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Contract Management: Oversee existing contracts, including renewals, variations, extensions, and cancellations.
- Procurement & Sourcing: Conduct purchasing activities in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Financial Administration: Track and report on contract and supplier spend, prepare monthly accruals, and payment schedules.
- Numerical, abstract, and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with ERP Materials management systems
- Exceptional customer service experience
- Off catalogue sourcing and spot buying experience
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency
- Problem-solving capabilities and initiative
- Stakeholder management skills
- Organisational skills under pressure
This remote opportunity offers an attractive hourly rate and requires flexibility to visit the office as needed.
